Here we go with another altitude road game. Being on the road I really thought Vegas would have us as bigger underdogs.

Really curious to see how we look in this one.

I can't remember the last time we got consistent pressure on a P4/P5 teams' QB.

I haven't watched CO this year, but I saw some games last year and their OL was about as bad as ours. So if their OL still sucks, maybe we can get pressure.

Not surprised by line. Colorado at home but they haven't looked good, especially OL and at times defense. Baylor roughed up a couple cupcakes.

If Marshall and company make their home in the CU backfield and we stop turnover city on offense we could win by double digits. If we don't live in the CU backfield and turn it over we could lose by double digits. We also can't get overly handsy on Hunter and company (couple of dumb PI's against Utah).

Verdict: I enter every week positive. Sawyer starts again and looks good which opens up Washington and Reese. Defense makes a home in the backfield enough to disrupt some CU drives. We do suffer a costly turnover but defense plays well enough to mask it.

Bears win 31-24

Huge game for Dave. If they win this I believe he makes a bowl. If not, it's going to be tricky outside of BYU and Houston.

I still think this boils down to whether our O can pour some points on. I think our D will keep this a winnable game, but the O needs to not come out flat, not give up turnovers, and simply perform.

Unfortunately, this is a road game. And O tends to struggle on the road

FWIW...O/U has been set at 54

I don't think I'll be touching the spread or O/U on this one.

I'll put a hundred on BU-1or +1. BU is starting to look competitive. I got Baylor at 50/1 to win Championship 100 to win 5000. I'm looking forward to steady improvement.

Who is starting? Finn or Tom Sawyer?

If its Finn, I may mortgage the house and bet on CO SU.

Hype is a weird thing. It takes people way longer than it should to realize that there's no "there" there.

Colorado is not a good football team. Could they beat us? Definitely. But if they do, it's because we're also not a good football team.

Hopefully our path toward becoming one starts this week. I'd love to humble Prime and Co. in prime time.

I wish I shared your optimism on final score. I just haven't seen enough from this team to think they'll be able to win this game. D looks good, but not sure about our ability to cover the pass and put pressure on their qb. I think Colorado has a very good day against us. Our O is an unknown, our line is lacking, plus I have no idea who's starting for us, and I'm not sure how good their D is.

Then there's the altitude.

I don't expect to win this one. Hope I'm wrong.

Their D sucks at all 3 levels. Will move the ball against them. Gotta be fundamentally sound. Cannot turn the ball over Saturday. Can't settle for 3 when the opportunities for 7 are there. CO is gonna score some points, that passing game is awfully good. But so will we.

If we can run the ball, it's ball game. Our defense has shown strengths at all 3 levels at points this season. If we let them rest and limit possessions by CU, then I think we win by 10+.

we're 3-0 ATS this season, just sayin...

Their OL is on par or worse than our OL and Shedeur isn't helping his situation telling them they suck and blaming his problems on them to a national audience after the Nebraska game. We will get pressure it's just if we can force mistakes and get home.

I don't know what Tennessee is going to do to OU but I know OU ain't going to like it.

I just locked in $100 on BU +2.

CO defense is trash this could be a shoot out

I remember a few years ago someone in Aggieland telling me that by Johnny Manziel's last year there the team didn't like him much, especially the OL. Supposedly (I never saw it), they played in such a way to limit his protection. If Shadeur is so stupid and arrogant as to cultivate a negative relationship with his OL, that could be very detrimental as the season progresses.

No doubt - pretty much the opposite of a typical Briles team - meaning we won mainly because of our defense and had an offense just good enough to complement the defense.
