I think it helps that this is a high profile game on a national broadcast. As the game gets closer there will be more public betting interest and I would suspect a larger share of that public money is going on Colorado. I think it will keep creeping up on Colo side up until kickoff.

I'm gonna sit on my hands for now.

Minny at home -1 looks interesting. Minny has a good defense, and Iowa is still Iowa.

Lower scoring game probably favors us. If it gets up into the high 30's lows 40's I'm not sure we can keep up.

Washington is the key to the game. Combined with Pendergrass, if we can establish the run and control the clock, Sanders will be neutralized.

Locked in $100 on CU -1 as an emotional hedge. We win, and I don't mind losing the $100. We lose and at least I almost double my $.

I have those same concerns. 2 of our measly 3 wins did come on the road last year....but those environments were nothing like what they will see in Boulder on Saturday night.

If our defense can get stops on one or two series early on I think it will settle the whole team down. If the opposite happens things could get out of touch pretty quickly.

I do not bet much, but I do follow betting lines pretty closely. I think that betting markets are pretty efficient, but not as tight in college as they are in the pros. Lots more $$$ getting thrown at NFL games, which is one reason why lines are so much closer.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned: Nebraska absolutely handled CU. I wonder if Rhule still has any connections at Baylor that he forwarded along some prep materials to?

What about BU @ U of H?

I'm not predicting anything but every game on our schedule is winnable including road games. I don't expect wins in Ames or Morgantown but both are certainly possible.

I'm going to laugh when Shadeur loses his composure after his third sack on the way to CU losing by three scores.

Foolish to put any money on this game. Still too many unknown variables. We still haven't played an offense with any semblance of talent except the first quarter of the Utah game when Cam Rising torched our secondary so a good portion of our fan base is about to find out the D has improved since last year but is in no way the shutdown defense that many of them believe.

Shedeur will throw for more than 350 against us Saturday and as bad as our safeties are and as slow as all the linebackers (except Keaton) are in pass coverage it will result in a lot of points.

On the flip side we should be able to zip up and down the field at will against Colorado's D as long as Coach Knucklehead doesn't come up with a children's story that tells him Finn shouldn't lose his job due to an injury. Sawyer will throw as many holes through CU's D as Shedeur does through our's. The only difference is that Sawyer's will be mid-range open throws while Shedeur wil uncork 2 or 3 65+ yarders. And Washington shows enough of a burst that he should add up some yardage running the ball.

Final score will probably be in 35-45 point range.
