I wonder why they had a press release about it a week in advance. Probably should have done a press release the morning after the party. I assumed the timing of the press release was a wink wink "hey Baylor fans and alums and backers from those days this is where we will all be".

Yeah....that's not looking like a smart move now. Probably going to lead to some unwanted distractions.

I'm guessing this will turn into some sort of Homecoming for the players during the Briles era regardless. I wouldnt be surprised if RGIII for example drops in to the party.

So how many football players were actually charged with sexual assault/rape, arrested, and convicted? Numbers are objective and have a way of putting problems in perspective.

A jury decided former president Trump was guilty. Yes, he has the right to appeal and in our democracy, as long as it lasts, one is innocent until proven guilty and even after being judged to be guilty, has the full right to appeal.

Let me see if I understand your point. It was Baylor's cowardace ,when it came to the press , that created this mess in the first place and now Baylor should again cower to the press , a decade later ? Does that about sum it up ? Baylor just needed to honor the TEAMS, ALL of the teams ! They did not need to send out ANY invitations except a blanket statement of their honoring the TEAMS accomplishments. Do you really think the players will throw Briles under the bus, or find a way to include him ? Like Georges ! How much press coverage has this already created ?
