What are you looking at? The only 2 games on the schedule I see are Auburn & SMU non-conf. The conf schedule hasn't been released yet.

Home: ASU, Utah, UH, K-State, UCF
Road: Zona, TCU, OK State, Cincy

This year we had 4 long roadtrips (i.e., further than a 6-7 hour drive): SLC, Boulder, Ames, Morgantown.

Next year only 2: Tucson and Cincinnati (plus 2 up and back day trips to the Metroplex).

Win the bowl game and then beat Auburn and SMU going into conference play with a 9 game win streak? We'd be highly ranked and the favorite to win the conference. Next years expectations should be high (regardless)!
