Looks like WV is the first and possibly only open B12 gig. Gotta wonder if Satterfields seat is getting hott in Cincy

Ahh duh missed that one.
I agree. I would go with a younger guy who can adapt with the changing environment in college football instead of retreads. But I wonder how WVU will view it through the lens they probably feel like they went for the young up and comer in someone like Brown and got burned. So I wonder if they will try to go a more familiar route this time.IowaBear said:
Neither would be smart hires by WV if we're being honest

That would be an absolutely terrible hire for WVU. In every way imaginable.Stefano DiMera said:
Rumor he will take over at his alma mater UMass.
And WVU going after Jimbo.
The last straw was getting mud-holed by Tech in Lubbock. They completely no-showed their regular-season finale.TeamPlayer said:
I always liked the guy. I guess finally losing to Baylor at home was the last straw?
I think Rich Rod would be OK. He knows what it takes to be successful there and has experienced some success at multiple stops since his WVU stint.IowaBear said:

Is that really a step up? I could see Keeler regretting that move pretty quickly.jikespingleton said:
Temple took Sam Houston's coach..
The AAC is a better conference than the CUSA, obviously. But he's not leading the conference. He'll be leading one of the worst programs in Division I history ... and leaving a burgeoning program in the middle of the country's most fertile recruiting ground to do it.IowaBear said:
From a conference perspective it's absolutely a step up. However, Temple is a hard place to win for obvious reason. Risky move for Keeler who's clearly betting on himself.

Why not Nick Saban?
Per @BruceFeldmanCFB, Ja’Juan Seider is also in the mix for the WVU coaching job. He was RB coach at WVU under Holgorsen and a former WVU player. This is a name I had not heard until now. pic.twitter.com/IC3wzajQfr

Every Aggie is praying for this. I believe Jimbo's payments from A&M are offset by what he earns as a head coach.Johnny Bear said:
If it's Jumbo he ought to do the job on a volunteer basis given what he took the aggys for.
