I did not see this coming when we were sitting at 2-4 after the ISU loss. Hopefully....he does even better this season and make his seat cold.

Crazy that Norvell finds himself on the scorching seat after having a case to be included in the 4 team CFP just the prior year. Last year was horrible though.

Need to show more consistency to have it cool down. Coming off such a strong second half last season a slow start can heat it up pretty quick.

Room temperature seat?

Anyway, I was ready to cut bait after Air Force and still stand behind that.
But after he was force fed an excuse to sit Finn we magically improved.
If we keep winning an adequate, minimum floor I have no problem with Aranda.
8 wins is as low as I would consider acceptable though.

I would say his seat is fairly cold. I'm not saying I agree with that paradigm, it just is what it is. Mack really really loves the guy, Linda really really loves the guy. I would put him middle of the pack, maybe lower-mid in terms of all P4 coaches, but he's generally going to win enough to appease his boss, especially if he can keep a good offensive coordinator around. And I will grant that he is generally smart enough to realize that he needs to cut his losses with various coaches, though that realization often comes one season too late

Finn was undoubtedly a DEI "hire" forced down by Liberal Linda.

Neal Brown was room temperature too.

I always thought that "assuming room temperature" was a bad thing.

It's incredible that your brain really thought that. And then, instead of thinking "that was dumb" and discarding the thought, you even more incredibly typed it up and posted it.

I just want him to prove he can win consistently

His tenure has been a roller coaster so far. I'm more optimistic now than I ever have been though

If you want to bring your politics onto this board, at least say something that is not completely idiotic.

6 or 7 wins consistently and I believe his safe. Based on that rate of success there will always be some heat; however, BU's administration is comfortable with his other personal traits so as long as there is optimism for the next season all should be well.

Baylor has had multiple fine quarterbacks with a variety of race/ethnicity.

Don't insult any of them by claiming they were chosen to fill a system of quotas.
