Funny I thought he was awesome in college considering is offensive line was always somewhere between medium and bad. Against Baylor he was running for his life and had like 300 plus yards. I think he might be a star but who knows until he faces live bullets.

Being able to put up yards on our defense last year is not a good indicator of future NFL success IMO

I don't know dude. I'm not saying the same thing about Josh Hoover. But shadeur was impossible to tackle and fearless in the pocket and made all kinds of crazy throws. Under pressure. I came out of that game thinking he will be an nfl quarterback. Number one separator for nfl quarterbacks is making that same through when the killing machine is bearing down on you and shadeir seems to have that.

Poise and mastering your offensive system can make a good QB with lesser physical talent a great QB, and while he doesn't have a cannon for an arm, he is on time and on target more times than not. I'm sure the Colts would trade a 5th round Shedeur over the 4th pick overall in Anthony Richardson.

You're saying that the Colts would trade Anthony Richardson for Sanders right now? Na. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Sanders looked pretty good in this game. A game where he was playing against future practice squad players and guys that will be working regular 8 to 5 jobs in a few weeks. I would like to see how his style of play would work against legit NFL talent think Micah Parsons or Will Anderson Jr bearing down on you

I watched Richardson not know what to do against those same future practice squad players on Thursday in year 3 and ending up injuring himself. He is a bust. In fact he is so bad they went out and got Daniel Jones. Will sanders be all pro, no clue. Do I think he is a more competent pro quarterback than Anthony Richardson ...yes

He definitely looked better than Joe Milton.

Agreed. He should have read that blitz and known where to throw. That is high school level understanding of knowing to throw to where the blitzes is coming from.

I don't get it. I thought RG3 had always been on Sanders side? I feel like everything I have seen from him pre draft, during draft and after was that he was a first round guy and thinks he is good. Did he at one point think he wasn't and has changed his stance?

I don't really use any social media, so I'm not sure if I can post the links, but Sanders just recently had a couple very awkward interactions. One with the Browns GM on the sidelines during a game where it sounds like he's drunk, and one where he refused to give an autograph to a little girl where he said it "wasn't a good look to be signing autographs" while he was just milling around before the game. Very weird stuff

He's right on the autograph. Not a good look to be a star while not a starter.

You probably didn't watch the video then.. He was standing around with headphones on, and a little girl asked him for an autograph. Literally two seconds before that, he took a selfie with a woman. You've got time to listen to music and take selfies, but you can't sign an autograph for a little kid? He phrased it like he couldn't sign it because it just wasn't a good time. It was weird

Yes. Please try to find the one where he won't sign the kids autograph.

Edit: and I'm not trying to imply that he was drunk, but if you listen to the video you'll see what I mean.

I have no idea what normal pre-game protocol is in regard to autograph signings for players

Then again I would ask, why is it OK to take time to take a selfie with a woman, but you won't sign a kids autograph? Not an expert on NFL pregame etiquette, but there's no way it's against the rules. And if it was against the rules, simply saying that it's against the rules is better than saying that it's "not a good look for me" or whatever

Bottom line, this dude is an odd cat in my opinion

There really isn't anything worthwhile to take from those clips, the autograph thing or the GM comments. And there's really not much to take from two preseason games. But the media's job, and especially social media, is to keep you watching and clicking. They like to make stories over reporting them fairly. It's not hard to sucker casual sports fans, which is why sports media is generally so nauseating. We are easy marks tor bogus controversy.

Shedeur has advantages and disadvantages being Deion's kid. But it's up to him to be the person and player he's going to be, and he's still basically a kid, still figuring it out. He's in a much bigger situation than he's ever been in before. We'll see how he develops.

If anyone thinks two preseason performances are an accurate predictor of NFL futures, they don't know much about the NFL.

The sleeze merchants trying to tell you that Dillon had a disastrous game, when in fact he looked very good, despite the turnovers that aren't at all unusual for a rookie's first action with a mish-mash team. They're trying to make Shedeur look like he is the second coming of Joe Montana. He was good, but not like instant starter straight to the Pro Bowl good.

But it all makes for great fish bait.

Tee it up, watch them play. Put it on paper.

Yeah, the Sanders fans really seemed quiet the past several days.

Don't worry, it is preseason. Give it a few years. We'll find out eventually. Just don't take the bait on stupid social media hype.

I can't speak for anyone else but I have NEVER signed an autograph before a game.

Shiloh was battling for the last DB spot, and probably not in the lead to make the cut. Now it just seems less likely he would be added to their practice squad. Somebody else will probably end up doing that assuming he isn't picked up on waivers.

That dude was harassing him pretty good long after the whistle, but you can't throw a punch, dude. Especially as a rookie on the fringe. He'll probably get another chance.

I don't know who Tony Rizzo is, but running the scout them doesn't do much to help a qb learn their system. A practice squad guy may be more likely to do that. He's probably getting 3rd team reps, though they usually are not abundant. Lots of drills and stuff to improve physical things, and mental reps on the white board.

Just spitballing, but man, they just don't want to give up the clickbait. Nothing really to see.

I predict Shedeur will get some NFL game reps this season at some point after a couple of injuries, assuming the Browns wind up out of any sort of contention. But Dillon will get first shot if he's healthy.

Good point. Third string usually does all the drills during warm up and individual type stuff or maybe throwing to the back side WRs and watching when it is team offense.

The dude's just a clown. The way to beat charges that you're immature and a distraction isn't to be more immature and make yourself more of a distraction.

Shedeur has the talent to succeed, but he's sabotaging himself with an ego he can't keep in check.

He was hand-raised by one of the biggest ego-maniacs ever in the history of the world. It is literally beyond his conception that he isn't the greatest, and he's probably going through a psychological crisis. His ridiculous dad did this to him, and I feel sorry for him.
