Yup… Saturdays is huge. Lose that one and I think the free fall will be underway. Win Saturday and the Bears may finally have momentum headed into Ft Worth. It's a huge game

We kinda need to win next week. The next two games at TCU and Cincinnati don't look particularly easy. If we lose to K state at home, we could be feeling pretty rough by the time November rolls around.

When was the last time it was "easy" playing TCU? (Hint: it was sometime before the start of the 21st Century).

I'm glad they had a good game. Beating them while they're moving up will give us more confidence going into TCU. Playing another OSU will not.

i'll chirp a little here to prepare you for saturday from an emaw perspective.
1. getting dylan edwards back for the first time/full time this season was huge because he's the best player on the team. and there's little behind him. he takes a lot of pressure off avery johnson's meh passing game.
2. k-state has been raked by injuries this season. i won't go through the long list but the ucf game were without starting left tackle (probably for the season) and two starting receivers, jayce brown and jerand bradley. the latter likely out for baylor as well.
3. defense is aggressive but oft times porous. ucf gouged them the second half over the top and with their run game.
4. special teams are okay, particularly the kick game, not good/great because the punt receiving group is putrid.
5. i'm not sure what ucf proved? they are clearly a lower tier b12 squad. but it was a get-right game for the cats and brings them to .500 in b12 play. like you, saturday will tell k-state what the season will be going forward. win and watch out. lose and think hoops.

Our putrid defense will keep them in the game which will lead to a close loss like the ASU game. I hope I am wrong (and will be in the stands cheering), but I do not feel good about this game.

If we lose this game, Dave's seat should get real hot the second half of the season. This would be a bad loss, especially at home (not that playing at home has been any real advantage for us).

If we lose this game I think it's almost impossible for the season not to be a disappointment. KSU is solid but if you don't win this you are not a big 12 title contender. That means you wasted the senior season of one of your all time best QBs who is leading the country in passing and one of the best dudes to ever wear the uniform. Tackle that Qb and rb and we should win.

We're at home against a decent team. No need to overthink this. We lose.

Eh. That Kansas team finished with five wins. They were probably a bit better than their record suggested, but red hot isn't what I'd call them

They had 3 good wins heading to Waco. But that was still a 5-7 team. At the end of the day you are what your record says you are. Kansas record said they were a mediocre to bad team last season
