the calls are individual calls - never looks like he's thinking through the entire 4 downs. all facets of the game are just brain dead when it comes to coaching

What's with all this lateral **** in the passing game the last few weeks? We're trying fool disciplined defenses. That doesn't work.

Screens won't work without downfield throws…..ever. The downfield threat is what makes screens a viable play.

throwing the ball to trigger two yards behind the line of scrimmage is brain dead. he's bigger and stronger than everyone. but plays like that get him blown up especially with a receiving core that cannot block for their lives.

that's my point - you call plays two and three steps ahead. but nothing is complimentary with spav. it's like he looks at what's in front of him every single time instead of what play calls will compliment each other and get baylor the first down with the best advantage.
