But, but, but, but ENM can't be beaten! It can't happen.

I can't remember watching any more entertaining football than the offensive explosion we had under CAB. Any play could go the distance. The guy is a genius on that side of the ball. The way he transformed our offense into just running after we lost all 3 starting QBs that one season---wow. Sure our defense was generally lackluster but definitely had some bright spots. I can remember plenty of highlights the defense made. The ENMU fans are in for a treat, esp after he gets better and better guys on campus to run his system.

I would LOVE to have the feelings the ENMU fans are experiencing. Baylor is "hyped" over f'n retro uniforms.

Genius? A genius does not try to go through a Big 12 season with 3 QBs (actually only 2 real QBs) letting these QBs lower their heads and try to run over the defense. A quick check of other Big 12 rosters showed them carrying 4, 5 even 6 QBs that season.

Transforming our offense? A 7th grade junior high coach would have done that "transforming" prior to the TCU debacle where our scrub high school part time QB is trying to wing it downfield in a small hurricane against a Toad defense that was forced to play with 3 or 4 freshmen due to injuries. Follow that with a game of throwing it up for grabs versus one of, if not the, worst Longhorn teams in modern history.

Finally the 7th grade genius light bulb came on vs. UNC. Finally!

I know it's hard to let go. 10 years is a long, hard time. 455 miles at a 7 hours drive is tough on you. Are you willing to go another 10 years? 5 years?
