Deion's crew had a huge face plant yesterday losing 41-7 to Northwestern.

Early indications are that Lagway will make the start. I'm tempted to put a little down on the Bears at -8.5. Hopefully we take care of business in what should be a pretty winnable home game.

How so? They have the same record as us with two tough road games against GT and Northwestern. They turned the ball over at least 4 times against Northwestern, but their offense put up decent numbers against both of those teams. If we win by a FG, it will be a good win for Baylor. The Briles years are long gone amigo.

Probably our third easiest game after Prairieview and Louisiana Tech.

So if Lagway doesn't hurt himself again on the first play but throws interceptions will Aranda give Bennett a shot. Bennett has earned the starting spot. More concerned Lagway's timing will be off and Aranda doesn't make a change. Then we get more stupid comments from Dave post game

Bennett has done an admiral job as backup, but to think DJ will digress from all most pulling off a win at Auburn on a peg leg is delusional. Sic'em!!!

The Briles years are gone (I do miss the excitement). Few, if any, teams have ever won national championships with only a high powered offense. How many national championships did Briles win? How many major bowl wins did he have? How many bowls did he win after winning the Big 12 Championship? A balanced offense that can eat up time with long drives that result in points limits your opponents offensive opportunities, and with a good defense, it gives you the best shot at succeeding at a high level. Not saying Aranda is that guy, but let's give DJ a chance to run the offense on two legs, and see if Klanderman's defense can perform at high level. Sic'em!

Although, if those are the actual uniforms Baylor is sporting, it increases their odds.
