Ten Things: Baylor vs. Kansas

Baylor and Kansas squared off for the Big 12 opener for each school. Here are the ten things that caught my ete during the game.

1. Charlie Brewer settled into a rhythm in the fist half and the team responded
2. The speed and athleticism from Tyquan Thornton‍ , Josh Fleeks‍ , and Chris Platt‍  was on display in the game
3. If you can't trust Connor Martin then you can trust JT Woods‍ on the blitz
4. There were some defensive penalties that need to be cleaned up 
5. Special teams play has had a few gaffes which could hurt a team better than Kansas 
6. Baylor let off the gas, stalled, whatever in the second half of the game.
7. Injuries to Xavier Newman‍ and Deonte Williams‍ will be interesting to follow
8. Johncarlo Valentin‍ and Chrisstian Beard had some struggles replacing Newman.
9. Plenty of tape to see issues to fix
