Baylor travels to West Virginia to take on the Mountaineers at Milan Puskar Stadium at 6:00 p.m. CT on FS1.
1st Quarter
The first drive of the game West Virginia threw the ball twice for 22 yards. Then Will Grier threw a pass down the sideline to Gary Jennings Jr. for 53 yards and a touchdown. Baylor had a three-and-out on their first drive. West Virginia drove down the field but Clay Johnston stepped up big on 3rd-down and got a big tackle for no gain. West Virginia missed the 44-yard field goal. Charlie Brewer threw a 5-yard strike to Denzel Mims but he bobbled it right into the hands of a West Virginia defensive back for the interception. The Bears forced a field goal and James Lynch blocked it. The Bears got the ball back and Brewer threw a pass across the middle to Jalen Hurd on a post route that was overthrown and picked off. The Bears got another 3rd-down stop and forced a field goal that was made.

Chris Platt fumbled the opening kickoff and West Virginia recovered it. The Bears gave up a field goal. Jalan McClendon drove the Bears down the field and Josh Fleeks capped off the drive with a 2-yard touchdown. West Virginia drove right back down the field and scored a touchdown. Baylor went right back down the field and McClendon ran in for a 1-yard touchdown.
