Who is the artist/song? I loved how nuts the sideline and student section went when they played it- perhaps this is the Rhule eras version of 'jump around'

If the BOR or any old timers on here *****ing about Briles teams dancing knew the lyrics...they'd shut down the football program completely this time, chain the gates, and cry for forgiveness in their Sunday school classes this morning.
They plade it at the UT game in austin...the stadium erupted. I told my wife..only at UT. We'd never be able to do that. I was laughing so loud to hear it come on and our team go off.

Look for it to never be played again at Baylor, now that the word is out on the lyrics.

We played the extremely clean version

I was excited to see energy back in the stadium again. Place has been a morgue the past two seasons- keep it up whoever is in charge of the music
Are you really complaining about Mr.Brightside...lmaoPepperMD said:
Loved the music at the stadium! Really had a party atmosphere. That said, these were the lyrics that were more surprising to me and the wife:
"Now they're going to bed
And my stomach is sick
And it's all in my head
But she's touching his chest
Now, he takes off her dress
Now, letting me go"
Then it wasn't that song at all if it was the clean version. I just looked at the lyrics. You don't have to be a prude to say that song is horrible in every way. Can't even refer to a single part of it without using gutter language, etc. etc. Why would any school use it when it promotes everything we got nailed for and worse? There has to be other options other than this one...BylrFan said:

And what's wrong with any "the sound of music" tune. Elevating and exhilarating!BylrFan said:KAK said:Then it wasn't that song at all if it was the clean version. I just looked at the lyrics. Black Betty doesn't have the same ring as it used to
Now you've gone and done it! Milli saw your post and demanded an immediate telephone Board conference regarding immoral behavior of students and athletes.Derp said:

The lyrics make no sense and are as bad as LSUs "neck" chant.
OK, I get it now. I listened to the unedited version (horrible) and the clean version (so much had to be edited it sounded ridiculous) and just didn't get why anyone would like the song. I mean, the dude can't sing so bad (I understand it's rap and not singing, but even the rap sounds bad) I feel like I'm watching an SNL parody with Chris Rock. If it's popular because people think it's funny, I understand that. If it's popular because people think it's cool, I'm at a loss. I was born in 1980, I'm not terribly old.KyleKing said:
Here's the version to listen to, if you're going to. You'll save yourself more than you know
A "narco" is a person involved in organized crime or illegal narcotic trade. "Trapping" is a slang word used to describe the action of selling drugs.Quote:
Trapping like a narco (narco)
Got dope like Pablo (Pablo)
Cut your throat like Pablo (cut throat)
Chop trees with the Draco (Draco)
On the North, got the Yego (Go)
Saying Hasta luego (luego)
We rep the kilos
Snub nose with potatoes

Ya'll might be surprised what modern day hip hop music actually is.
It's trap music.
The trap is the hood. It's all about drugs deals bando's (abandoned drug houses), bricks (cocaine bricks) and expensive tastes like Patek watches or Gucci clothes.
Companies like Sprite are sponsoring these guys, but the general public has no idea what their lyrics mean because they use new words and phrases.
Ex. 'Narcos' by Migos which is top 10 played on the radio 24/7. I heard it before one of our games while the players were warming up. You might be shocked what the content actually is.A "narco" is a person involved in organized crime or illegal narcotic trade. The Draco Carbine is a short romanian soviet gun similar to an ak. choppa is a reference a gun and the fact that it chops down everything it shoots at.
Kilo's is cocaine.
Snub nose with a potato: a potato can be used as a silencer by placing one on the barrel of the gun.
