Hey guys, I'm sorry if started the thread in the wrong place. I'm an FDM student and thought ya'll would enjoy some photos I took of McLane. I think they make great screensavers






I wish they'd let me shoot during game day

I've been b**ching about that ever since our first game in 2014. I have to believe that somehow a whorn was involved in the design and it wasn't an accident. Regardless if it was intentional or not, it is incredible to me that no one who had final approval over the plans didn't notice the similarity in both shape and color to the longhorn logo.

If somebody ever shows up in the dead of night with a jackhammer and saws the horns off that burnt orange monstrosity, it wasn't me.

I noticed that before but it is only a vague resemblance. As for the color of the bricks, it's similar to most of the buildings on campus. No surprise there. As for the shape, I think it was designed more as an arrow kind of thing, to point fans to the two entrances at either side of the stadium. No matter, it's been that way from the beginning and it's not much of an issue. This is the first time I've seen any discussion about it.

No fly zone for a few hours around each game.

I can understand making this mistake. I cannot understand why the mistake hasn't been fixed.

Then again maybe this is down horns and Tom Herman will be triggered by it, lose focus and coach a bad game.

Nice theory but n 2017 they shellacked the Bears at McLane. Maybe TH did not see it.
