Related: Howard opens up about relationship with Baylor
On Thursday evening, Baylor added a late addition to the early signing period when Loganville (GA) Grayson High School defensive lineman Isaiah Howard (6-4, 285) committed and signed his National Letter of Intent to play his college football in Waco.
Originally from the New Jersey area, Howard moved to the Georgia powerhouse for his senior season.
Howard held an offer from the Bears and planned to take an official visit last weekend. That visit did not happen, however, and the potential to commit and eventually sign with the Bears looked to be lost.
That all changed on Thursday night.
“God just happened!” Howard said. “It’s signed. Sealed. and Delivered! I’m coming to Waco.”
Moved to Atlanta and got knocked up. This is a kid about to fall through, but his tape while healthy is legit.Baylor3216 said:

Sounds like a scholarship opened up. Does that mean no Hookfin or Ellis?
Sometimes it's not about the offer list.Baylor3216 said:

Is there an issue regarding a knee injury that made him not that highly recruited? I thought I saw that somewhere but it was this site.

No, he moved to the Atlanta area late from New Jersey.

No, he moved to the Atlanta area late from New Jersey.
So he had little to no track record in New Jersey as a junior?
