Not sure about Yoak, but I cancelled 4 season tickets after 21 years, pulled my kid out of Baylor, and no longer donate to Baylor. I figure that is about as much as any of us little people can do. That being said, I don't think Baylor really cares. And at this point, that is okay.

More than I'm willing to go into on a message board, but at a base level I've given up 4 season tix to football games after holding them since 2008 and we do not make trips to Waco to attend multiple games of each MBB, WBB, or BB like we used to.

This is the epitome of being sensitive. If you saw the great things going on and around campus you would regret your decisions. And as for getting so upset about a college sport... you should probably start putting your eggs in other baskets. I'll never understand how grown, middle-aged men can get so upset over something that really has no impact on their lives.

This was a thread about a player who is leaving the team for discipline reasons. It has nothing to do with events from 4 years ago. It has nothing to do with the BOR or CAB. You guys are either psychopaths with a mental imbalance which causes you to obsess over the scandal... or you are from another University, and are dedicated to the idea that the scandal must never die. Not sure about Yoak, but I cancelled 4 season tickets after 21 years, pulled my kid out of Baylor, and no longer donate to Baylor. I figure that is about as much as any of us little people can do. That being said, I don't think Baylor really cares. And at this point, that is okay.

I see how those things may give you some sense of satisfaction that you're sticking it to the man, but I struggle to see how any of them address any of the issues you claim to have with Baylor's administration.

I also struggle to see how you can claim to be about accountability while simultaneously offering implicit support of Art Briles as Baylor's football coach, but that's another story.

This is one of the best posts I have read on the free board. You have great perspective. What you conveyed is what I was told in 2016. Despite the problems in football, the academic part of Baylor is doing great. I never understand how folks can be so negative about our school with all the other great things happening.
