Timbear, we won a conference championship and a co championship two years in a row. We weren't in the championship conversion and didn't make the playoffs.
Other than OU and maybe Texas, the bluebloods weren't a part of our two year run.
2015 wasn't bigtime football. It like the Cotton Choke was underachieving on the field because the players were not prepared by the staff.

2015 wasn't big time. The Texas and TCU games were embarrassing to amateur sports. Volunteer coaches could have done better preparing the Bears.

The 4th quarter of the Cotton Bowl was about the worst coaching performance in a major bowl history.

We were out of the playoff conversation with our 1 loss because we didn't schedule. Just because Art was making unnecessary tv appearances all night before the committee released the names didn't mean It was a close call. We had already made sure we were not getting in due to failing to schedule like every team was told.

Your last paragraph reminds me how dead and shallow the Briles regime is when it comes to importance. What's it like to hold onto dead end hopes? What's it like to know all you have his trashing those women and people you do not know in real life. What's it like to try to undercut the present while trying to sale a fading black marked and infamous coach?

It doesn't matter what network reports it, CAB made poor choices post firing and his hopes to get an NCAA coaching job are at a dead end point.

A bigger story than Art's dead end road is the executive producers paying for the CAB documentary. Who would throw away good money for something that will not be watched? Those guys must not realize that people outside the bubble use common sense about college football and it's shady reputation.
