BREAKING: Baylor lands 2017 cornerback Timarcus Davis

Baylor has landed a commitment from 2017 cornerback Timarcus Davis‍  (College Station). Davis was previously committed to the Houston Cougars and also held offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Purdue and Utah.

Davis (5-11, 165) was one of the top testing prospects over the last year, totaling a 124.08 Nike SPARQ rating. Davis ran a shuttle of 3.95, jumped a 45.8-inch vertical, and ran a 4.63 40-yard dash during the spring.

Davis joins both Trevon Lewis (Houston Lamar) and Jalen Pitre (Stafford) as the three current members of Baylor's 2017 class.
