Assuming Gruden doesn't get another coaching job? Also RG3 was teamless for a whole year right?

Jay Gruden is in the coaching fraternity. He'll have another NFL job whenever he wants one

Particularly given that his brother is a HC.

Not so sure about that. I think he got his first gig because of the name, but not sure if will trump his record/failure in DC. If he gets a mulligan with another team, I think it will be because of blame placed on the owner. If I were a QB, I wouldn't want to go anywhere near him. That and the fact that he has the personality of a stomach pump, and charm of a wet dishrag.

Will Washington dip into the college ranks for Gruden's replacement?

Urban Meyer is available. Harbaugh might want to take his style back to the NFL.

Option A could be to backup the Brinks truck to Lincoln Riley's house... if Jerry Jones doesn't beat him to it

Snyder backing up the Brinks truck for Mike Tomlin.

Gruden will be in Vegas running the offense for his brothers Raiders next year.

The way I remember it, Gruden came in after RGIII rookie year (when he won all rookie awards) and completely changed the offense that deleted all of RG's strengths. Made him look awful. Cost him his NFL career.

I hope Gruden doesn't get another job. Unless they want him in Berkley/austin.

I agree with the second part of your post, but surely Tomlin has more sense than to leave the Rooney family for Snyder! Talk about from the sublime to the ridiculous.

I think Snyder and Gruden both own the lion's share of blame for what happened with RG3. Snyder for ridiculously over the top favoritism that put a bullseye on Robert's back with both coaches and players, and Gruden for being a petulant, sulking, insecure, and vindictive titty baby, who instead of being the mature adult and coach, decided to prove a point, making it pretty clear that he didn't want Robert, and ultimately making Robert collateral damage. He seemed to be repeating the pattern so far this season with Haskins.

I also think that Robert showed some real immaturity in the whole matter, buying into Snyder's favoritism hook, line, and sinker, maybe even feeling like he was an untouchable. Too bad he didn't have an adult owner and coach, who could take an amazing raw talent who left it all on that embarrassment of a field in DC his rookie season, and help him reach his full potential in and off the field, as he matured. That's why I hope Gruden is done as a head coach for good.

It seems that RG3 has been humbled, learning valuable lessons, and is in great shape as both an NFL talent and a teammate, and I really hope and pray he gets another chance to show the full scope of his amazing talent very soon.

I'd be surprised if he gets another head coach job.

RG3 didn't exactly help himself over the course of his career. His style got him beat up.
Gruden was stuck with Snyder. No chance for a head coaching job again. He will be coaching long after RG3 hangs it up and spends time with his lovely wife. No one criticized him as an assistant.

It was really Shanahan that ruined RG3. Gruden just did what he was brought in to do, Get RG3 off the books for the mess that Mike created.

Shanahan didn't click with Robert either, hard to blame all of that on Gruden.

He's an incredible athlete, especially in his prime, but he's always been fragile and too lean to take a beating for the position at the pro level.

You never know, Bellicheck failed in Cleveland, Pete Carroll failed in New England, stuff happens.

I didn't say that. He'll easily be a coordinator in the NFL as long as he wants to be.
