Aranda inks five to complete Baylor's 2020 class

WACO, Texas – Baylor head coach Dave Aranda announced Wednesday his first BU signees, inking five of the nation's top high school football players that will join the program for the 2020 season.

Included in the group are three defensive backs, one offensive lineman and one quarterback. There is one player each from Alabama, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania.

Wednesday's signees add to the 12 student-athletes previously announced in December during the initial signing period to give the Bears a 17-man class for 2020.

Mike Harris‍ (5-10, 160)

Guess so.

I guess Reed is technically a Rhule recruit (?) - verballed way back, but didn't sign until today.

I like this class, I don't care of the ranking. I like that we appear to have new pipelines into LA and possibly AL talent.

Not worried about numbers. We knew this what going to be a small class. Per class breakdown on this site (thank you guys), we have 9 seniors next year and I is already in the transfer portal.

Very excited about our next class, when we have a full year and full staff in place.

Coach A did a great job with limited time based on Rhule's selfish , I got mine to heck with you time schedule and attitude. Glad Rhule got Baylor back in perception and wins, and glad he's Gone. Win/Win

All things considered, I think we did pretty well. We managed to keep most if not all of the recruits Rhule had coming and got a couple of nice surprises here at the end.
