WACO, Texas—In March, SicEm365.com, the leading Baylor sports, recruiting and fan engagement site announced the launch of SicEm365 Radio, and effective next week, will put down permanent roots in the heart of Waco in order to expand their coverage and local presence.

SicEm365 will be the flagship tenant at the new 101 Elm development, directly across from Waco’s legendary Suspension Bridge. With this iconic backdrop, SicEm365 will have a studio for its rapidly-growing SicEm365 radio brand and will expand into live and produced in-studio video coverage. SicEm365 is partnering with Waco’s own D1 Designs to build out a studio unlike any other in Central Texas.

“The journey we’ve been on with SicEm365 Radio has been magical,” said David Smoak, SicEm365’s director of broadcasting and on-air radio host. “When we say ‘lights, camera, action’ and begin streaming our daily show live via video—plus all the other amazing coverage we will be able to bring to both the Baylor community and the regional sports communities—it will be unlike anything that is offered in Central Texas today. I’m grateful to be a part of this team that gives 100 percent and is always pushing the envelope to make what we do for fans and members even better.”

101 Elm is the first major project in the revitalization of the Elm Avenue area of Waco. Located at the intersection of Elm Avenue and Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive in Waco, the location gives SicEm365 one of the best spots in town.

“If you look down MLK, you can see the amazing McLane Stadium. If you look across the street, you see Waco’s most recognizable landmark, the historic Suspension Bridge,” said SicEm365 co-owner Brian Ethridge. “SicEm365 has grown exponentially in the last four years. Having daily streaming radio plus the power of video, combined with our online stories and fan community is the logical next step to providing the best coverage of anyone when it comes to Baylor or sports in Central Texas. We are excited to see what having a permanent home base in this phenomenal, iconic location brings.”

Founded in 2016, SicEm365.com has rapidly grown to be the largest Baylor sports and recruiting site on the internet. With more than 27,000 people in the message board community, the site provides coverage of all sports at Baylor, recruiting across Texas and beyond and hosts a tailgate at Brazos Parking for each home football game.

Since its launch in April 2020, SicEm365 radio has provided a daily prime-time streaming sports talk radio show featuring legendary Central Texas sports radio personalities David Smoak, Craig Smoak and Paul Catalina. With the move to 101 Elm, SicEm365 radio will eventually be broadcast via video daily as well. The SicEm365 Radio team also covers area high school sports and will be the flagship radio station for Connally Cadet football this fall.

Define daily video programming? I'm worried this is going to turn into the Mack Brown cooking show that was on the longhorn network.
