Ridiculous OC calls. Once again we lose. With one of the best QBs. I was not a big fan of the Aranda hire. He is a DC hire not head coach. Who thought that was a great idea with all the other possibilities. I hope we don't back to time when I was at Baylor and we were the laughing stock of the SWC. Yes I'm dating myself.

Mack Rhoades overthought this hire. If he was going to have someone learn on the job, he should have promoted McGuire. At least then you could maintain some of the culture and momentum of the Matt Rhule era. We've lost both in six games.

Charlie's never had a strong arm. Nixon schemed around that by accentuating his strengths and masking his weaknesses. Fedora can't apparently.

I agree Brewers arm is not what is was a year ago, but that being said it's still pretty darn good. Why run him all the time and risk injury. Not a big fan of our back up QB, Bohanon. He still needs time. Plus he is a running QB
You need a duel threat QB to compete with OU and OSU. Or even ugh UT.

Please people McGuire is not the answer.

Which would be more understandable/acceptable if I could tell what the hell it was that his offense was designed to accomplish.

No offense, but Brewer's arm is not 'pretty darn good'. It's just not. It is below average for the P5 level and probably middle of the pack in terms of G5 quarterbacks. I also agree that in the past he was able to get away with having one read to our star receiver, but we don't have one of those this year.

I think Aranda needs to figure out what he wants from this offense. I'm not convinced that his defensive style is compatible with what fedoras style is. It's very difficult to run an effective ball control spread offense. Just don't think we have the depth or overall talent to do it. You need to go balls to the wall and Have more of a true running threat at quarterback

I've been saying Fedora sucks since the WVU game. The only game he has looked somewhat competent in is the Kansas game.

I have no faith in him moving forward. Defense is great, but our O has gotta go.

It's all off-season propaganda. We've heard comments like that about Brewer's arm strength since his freshman year. Hasn't significantly improved at all

What does this even mean in response to saying Macguire as HC is not the answer here? You've really think going position coach as HC is the answer here? You really are worse than the CABers but on behalf of Rhule, if you think a position coach as HC is the answer now just because he was a Rhule position coach. I can assure you if this staff fails they will all be fired as they should be.

It is hard to bring together a team, new coaches who have not been together and COVID.
