Bonner chose Baylor over offers from Arizona, Illinois, Pittsburgh, Utah, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, Wisconsin and others.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect finished his senior season with 35 receptions for 754 yards and eight touchdowns in seven games. As a junior Bonner caught 49 passes for 1,249 yards and 12 touchdowns. Over his final two seasons at St. Thomas, Bonner averaged 23.9 yards per reception.
Bonner becomes commit number 17 in the 2021 class and is the fourth wide receiver in the class joining Javon Gipson, Elijah Bean and Monaray Baldwin
Bonner earned his Baylor offer on Feb. 11 and then visited Baylor back in March for Junior Day right before the dead period was imposed due to COVID-19.
