You guys are embarrassing yourselves!
Congrats. You've been embarrassing yourself on Baylor football boards for longer than anyone else in history.
That you never outgrew your junior high "pencil neck" phase tells you all anyone needs to know.
Neurotic are you?
Thee:
I like and respect you. You put your body on the line for Baylor when you played for the Bears and you represented Baylor in a wonderful way. Plus, you're a smart guy.
But please:
(1) Give up the "pencil neck" thing. It's stupid and it's beneath you. It brings back ugly memories of football players at Baylor when I was there, 1967-1975, (law school and the Navy added a few years) abusing and insulting small and weak guys all over campus and especially in front of Martin Hall. They made fools of themselves. The use of that term is absurd and I believe you understand that it is. You're better and smarter than that.
You were fortunate to be born big, strong and athletic. Lots of other guys were not. I'm fortunate that I was born to ultimately be 6' 2' and 190, so I never had to listen to the BS from stupid, selfish athletes at Baylor making fun of guys who didn't have the good fortune of good genetics.
(2) Give up the constant recitation of the number of days since Briles was fired by a cowardly, narcissistic, selfish and stupid board of regents which desperately needed a scapegoat to cover their sorry backsides. No one other than you cares about the number of days. Briles got screwed. Was he perfect? No. Was Teaff? No. Were the other 100 plus D1 head football coaches in America? No. Were the BOR/cowards who refused to hire a decent and strong AD and implement Title IX (which Briles would have happily followed). No.
Briles, had he gone to Tech instead of Baylor, after UH, would be headed to the Tech Hall of Fame (maybe the College Football Hall of Fame) and a statue would be in the works for him in Lubbock.
He screwed up going to Baylor where it was a cesspool of far right nuts who refused to accept Title IX, hired a cowardly president and weak AD....and by doing so, cost Baylor its reputation that may never be repaired and hundreds of millions of dollars in lost revenue and contributions....and..... the best football coach Baylor ever had.
