Interesting that the drinking age is 21, but the serving age is 18.
The drinking age at 21 is beyond dumb.
I agree, but what age do you think would be appropriate?
The same age you get to vote, join the military and head off to college. Does anyone think the 21 age limit has stopped anyone from drinking? Of course not. In fact, I would argue the 21 age limit encourages more binge drinking....which is horribly dangerous. Our friends at MADD used their bogus data to push this change all those years ago.
there is actually a lot of good data about this... watch the news and see all the drunk driving wrecks and deaths and you think lowering the age is a good idea? unbelievable
Maybe our people are worse than people in the rest of the world, but when your international counterparts on a particular rule/law are Turkmenistan, Equitorial Guinea, Indonesia, Bahrain, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Qatar then it feels like then maybe we aren't on the best path.
Noooo evidence for that, babeeyyy, just maaade it up.

Just read this article to my wife and she is now not only furious at Justin, but furious at me that I have this attitude on this:
I was not there. I watched him grow up and, if this is true, hope that he gets his life together, goes to rehab, and becomes a better man.
But I refuse to rush to judgment.

The Duty family are odd people to the say the least. No idea if this true obviously but there has always been something odd about them in my interactions. It's also quite interesting that Mary Duty (matriarch of the Duty family) for years led the McLennan Co. Democrat Party and yet even to this day the Poppa Rollo's Valley Mills location proudly displays a Confederate flag in the bar area.

I am not always at PR's, but I run in to the Hewitt one , which is the one in question, frequently for pick up. I do not recall ever seeing any employee who was scantily clad, I suppose that is a subjective proposition, however still I have never seen anyone who appeared to be inappropriately dressed there.

Yet that seems to be an odd thing to unite them or who is forcing who to keep it up all these years?

Agree, we go there probably once every 3-4 months, and its usually jeans and a tye-died shirt for everyone. Although understaffed. Scantily clad doesn't ring even remotely true to my experience there, unless they're referring to me, which as I've stated before, is clearly a comfort issue. I find woven materials to be restricting and I refuse to be bound by society's expectations.

There are a lot of couples who have drastically different political beliefs. It's pretty common.

Both Mary and Roland are huge civil war history buffs, she taught history for years in Waco isd. I think that might explain the flag.

Having said that, they are peculiar but my interaction with them has always been good.

I try not to engage the free board types but alas, I'm sure I've been in a history class much more recent than you may have but either way having a Confederate Flag is quite the statement to make. I guess just a local Dem party leader showing their true colors.

So you understand the Democrat party is the party of the Confederacy as well as the KKK. I am glad you did not waste your parents' money for your grievance study degree.

I totally get your privileged not wanting to mix with us minorities ... which basically just demonstrates the point ... but honestly pretty shocked you admitted that in 2023.

It's an absolutely heinous lawsuit. Complete attempt at a cash grab. The validity of anything in there is next to nil.
I know Ryan Johnson. If he represent and files it, it is not a cash grab. He is a conservative Republican.

Lol, so that makes him all good?

The "defendant" is also a conservative.

Is that "friendly fire?"

What an insane way to try and say "the lawyer is right " because he voted my way. That's another thing that's really damn sad in this country.

I had a surgery the other day and kind of ranted on here on pain meds. Thus, with some clarity, I would like to try this again without sounding like a loon.
As stated earlier, I'm a fisc conservative/socially progressive guy who is not change-resistant, but i find this topic exhausting. Sorry about the grabass by management who obviously needs to lay off the sauce, I really am, but I grew up going to Waco's most unique, eclectic restaurant. Yes the pizza is not for everyone, but when you grow up in Waco, you love it. Thus, my sentiments are hands off my Rollos.

I feel better now.

Rollos really isn't that good.

Mary is crazy as a loon yer we still love her.

This is absolutely a cash grab. No litigation is worth its principle only.
