Yep..I went to Bell's Hill through first 5 grades...I think that was a Williams Drug Store ..Dr. Simpson and Dr. Crosthwait Sr's offices were behind the drugstore, facing 18th...Old HEB was across Austin..became Hicks Rubber Co...Madison Cooper House was 1801 Austin.

I have a question for Old Waco. Here is the tv schedule for the Waco area in mid-December in 1964. Were the stations not operating on Sundays or is there some other reason the schedule wasn't listed here?

Yes they were on the air Sundays. Dub King had a local sports show on Saturday afternoon, and Johnnie Watkins had a farm & ranch report weekdays at 12:30 sharp. My uncle who had a farm out wortham bend road watched Johnnie Watkins every day Monday thru Friday.
