If I was the owner of slow rise and read all of the feedback on here, I'd consider pulling out of the deal.

Went by there on Sat. and from the water it doesn't look like they have done much yet.

I really can't see that they have done anything so far. The for rent sign is still up. No coming soon sign.

They were hoping mid-Oct, not likely feasible at this juncture. They're going to build a roof over the concrete area from the back of the restaurant to the 4 sided bar that will enable them to make that area fully indoor or outdoor depending on the weather. Lots of other interior work, etc. Work is starting, but CoW inspectors are also weeks behind schedule, so some work is waiting on inspection to even begin. I'd say they'll be lucky to have it open by the beginning of Dec.

Damn. Disappointing on timeline but appreciate the update and candor!

Sucks. Nothing like money tied up waiting on inspections. Not much one can do.

Have they started construction? I have not been down there in weeks for various reasons. =)

They've done a bunch of the interior so far as far as I know. Some of the outside stuff.

Once the original hopeful opening date wasn't going to happen, they slowed everything down to make sure it was done exactly how they wanted it. Not gonna be super busy this time of year anyway

Just saw that they're now hiring for this location. Getting close

I don't even like their food, but that location is so nice, I will go there to drink lol

My last couple of visits to Slow Rise haven't been bad at all. In fact, they catered our Super Bowl Party.

I think the pizza is great. They have some great takes on pizza, including The Rueben.

I think the apps, such as the fired mac and cheese and ravioli are just deep fried frozen, but they're still edible. I like both and they go well with liquor.

Taking a boat there, tying up and eating some pizza doesn't sound too terrible.

I msged their FB site last week and was told April (sigh) though a friend told me they had a soft opening event.

They had a soft opening event a few weeks back. I believe they are trying to open up on Friday April 1st. They may do another 2 nights of soft opening this week as well. Basically just trying to staff the restaurant at this point.

I may have sent a msg volunteering for any future soft opening dates.

Copeland's article today list 4/18 as a tentative open date. Biked by today and saw a sign on the front for the first time:
