Good to see we made our free throws (16 of 20). 12 turnovers between Flagler and Akinjo. Yikes....
Remember charges count as Turnovers. Akinjo wiped out their player late in the second half (Not).

Meanwhile KU missed their last 20 FGA to fall into a tie at the half, and OSU takes the lead coming out of the break
well, if I was a conspiracy kinda guy, and notice my username, or just a person who thinks money greatly impacts sports all the way through, I'd argue that B12 refs keep an eye out for what's good for B12 $ and they definitely let that impact a game ... so if they keep them close with the #1 team, then they make our competitors look better nationally. It's why KU, our only blue blood, frequently gets away with fouls while the other team doesn't. ISU likely would have been a much larger spread if they hadn't helped them often.IowaBear said:
I'm saying it's fine, not every game is officiated perfect. Refs aren't out to get us. It's stupid to blame the refs we played like crap and still won.
My bad OU is not quite a Quad one win.Jacques Strap said:
Bears beat an 11-2 team by 10 points who is 39 on the NET rankings so that's a quad one win (for now at least). Nothing easy in the Big 12 this year with a giant target on the Bears. Yeah it wasn't their best game but it is a win and coaches and players will study the film and improve. Other teams have lost when they played below par but not the Bears and not tonight. The B12 Grind has begun and we are 2-0. Also this is a game coming off a menatlly draining road win @ ISU. The guys are not robots, they have good and bad days just like we do.
Oh and so happy we have James Akingo on this team!
