We are miles behind their rebounding. They didn't allow second shots and they got so many second chance points on their end. That is what stood out the most when watching both teams although I haven't seen Bu live yet.

They are a much more seasoned and experienced team so they will have the edge on defense and mentality. They have a handful of guys who can score inside. No great talents inside but 2 or 3 guys who can put it in around the rim.

That said.. by end of year if Love comes around and with George's increased experience.. we'll be the more talented guard group. George is by far the most talented on either team. If Jon can make it back would be huge in shoring up our issues to match up with physical and aggressive teams. He manhandled their guys and Gonzaga in the final four 21'

1. Will Jon be back? What is the latest on him? I wasnt expecting him back.
2. It's all about the guards in the tournament. We have 'em.

1) Rumors but still my rational expectation is no. He wants to come back this year but again that is just a competitive guy with a goal and not necessarily what is possible.

2) Agreed. If Love comes around and we get one solid established point guard role will be tough to beat. George might be the best player in college ball once March comes around.
