Didn't we have similar threads about Kendall Brown after his first week of NCAA play?

he's extremely unselfish and fits into our system seamlessly.
When you value culture as much as Drew does, that has to be a major consideration in the recruiting process. You're not just looking for talent. You're looking for talent that fits what we're building on and off the court. Drew has become a master at this. It helps, of course, that our program has reached a point where we can be choosy. I think in the early days, we took some chances we wouldn't now.DanaDane said:bear2be2 said:

You know, this is what I was thinking about this afternoon. Drew and his staff have gotten so good at identifying exactly which players fit his style and his system so well and primarily avoided top recruits where he and his staff just didn't see a good fit. There are several Top 10-15 recruits that you won't see our name anywhere near in terms of recruiting them. They're great players but Drew and staff just don't see the fit, whereas some coaches seemingly recruit to the rankings than whether the player is necessarily a good fit.

But could Abe dunk or shoot the three?

At 6-4 with long arms and big hands, I would hope he could dunk. I'm doubtful of his ability to shoot from the outside, but I'll defer to any contemporaneous scouting reports.historian said:True. Since Naismith was only 3.5 when Lincoln was murdered it's all doubtful. It wasn't only before the 3 point rule, it was before the game was invented!
Of course, you know all that.
