Since like a lot of the rest of you I participated in roasting Bridges for his early season failures (even started a thread about it) I thought it only fair to start one about lauding him for the 180 he did starting with the road game at WVU. He's been a consistent performer since, has hit multiple big time shots (finally found his 3 point shot again) and clutch free throws, is a solid rebounder, generally performs well on the defensive end, and has settled into his role on the team. It's been great to see him turn it around and become the player he was expected to be when he transferred.
Also, our D which again many of us railed about, has clearly been better since the start of the current win streak. We still aren't consistent with our man D, but at least it has clearly improved beyond the absolute joke it was before. Mixing in zone as a change up, which a lot of us wanted to see, has helped also (it really helped against Arky in the 2nd half as one example). We still aren't a great defensive team and likely aren't going to become one the rest of the season, but we've at least at a minimum been adequate enough lately on that end lately to keep putting up W's.
