I'd love to see few less Cryer turnovers

I wish I had it by number of touches because obviously Keyonte handles the ball a lot more than Flo, Lohner, etc. but I don't.
We are averaging 12.4 Turnovers per game this year, which is the exact same as we averaged last year. We averaged 11.5 Turnovers in the Natty year.
My point to all of this? Nothing really. Just bored, had some time on my hands and Alf's statement jogged my desire to see what our TO situation looks like by factual numbers.

The thread is actually about Sochan!
Dana - - When you pulled the data, did you grab the last 2 years as well? What's the comparison by position/role? This is good stuff. It would also be interesting to layer the timing of the turnover (which quarter) and the associated +/- factor.DanaDane said:

Good info, just seems every time I look up Cryer is committing careless turnover. Apparently KG is more of a problem in this regard than Cryer.

Lohner was a disaster early on every time he touched the ball on offense. Was a walking turnover. Recently it seems is playing more within himself as a rebounding specialist.
Thomba gets almost all his turnovers on moving screens which count as turnovers.
It kinda makes sense we don't have a lot of team turnover, because so many possessions are iso ball with our guards taking tough shots to beat the shot clock. No ball movement results in limited turnovers.
Sometimes bad shots can be worse than turnovers. A bad bricked three point attempt results in long rebounds and easy layups in transition. Effectively as harmful as a live-ball turnover.
