I think the issue is that Purdue still only has 3 losses and you would have to move a 4 loss team in front of them to move them down any more spots.JP1037 said:
I know these mid season rankings are semi-useless but scratching my head on Purdue losing to Northwestern and losing 2 of their last 3 and remaining #3. Kansas State has been on a big slide too... maybe they get a Big 12 bump but losing 4 of the last 6 and still sitting at 12?
That being said, its a tough year to pick. Every team in the top 20 could lose their next game.
I don't love our defense but we have as much of a chance as anyone to win it all. It will take some luck and shots will have to fall but we are solidly in the mix of teams with a chance.
They didn't remain at #3, they fell to #3. Show me the teams below them that you would put over them.JP1037 said:

These boards....all of them are top notch in taking a few data points and betting the farm on an outcome based on those points.....whether they be positive or negative data points.Stefano DiMera said:
Damn..at 0-3 I read on here from many we weren't making the tournament..and were questioning the NIT.
With a break in Lubbock tonight we could be in first place around 10pm tonight.
I think you mean KSU. We already beat Kansas.Stefano DiMera said:
No tiebreakers for regular season..that's just for seeding for tournament in Kansas City.
If Kansas sweeps us but we still have same records we are conference champions too

So, of the top 10, do we have the highest number of top 10 wins? Victories over Kansas and UCLA.
Have any others won 2? I know Tennessee and Kansas beat Texas.
Can we defund the semantics police?EvilTroyAndAbed said:They didn't remain at #3, they fell to #3. Show me the teams below them that you would put over them.JP1037 said:

UT, KU, BU, UCLA, Virginia.
I am not saying Purdue isn't good. I am saying if they weren't Big 10 they would have fallen to 8-10 for losing 2 out of 3 to good not great teams.
