I think it's exciting watching guys like the unsung Rozier step up and make a name for himself. Nobody was taking the C's seriously which makes winning even more satisfying.

IMO, Lebron is the better player overall. What he has been able to achieve in his 15th year is incredible.

Lebron has the better all around game, and he's not even a "scorer", so for him to be able achieve and break the multiple records that he has is unbelievable.

Also, when the argument comes up with Jordan, it just goes straight to "rings". Granted going 6-0 in the Finals is amazing, that doesn't define him as the GOAT in my opinion.

It would have been great too see those guys play each other. I think I would lean Lebron. A few points I would make:

1) Jordan never had to beat a dynasty year in and year out . . . so the championships shouldn't weigh too heavily in his favor. The competition simply wasn't that great when Jordan played. The western conference had different representatives in the finals practically every year, and the Knicks and Pistons in the eastern conference were getting a little long in the tooth.

2) Jordan got the benefit of so many phantom fouls . . . the extra free throws had to add at least 5 ppg to his scoring average. Lebron has never gotten that benefit . . . probably because big guys just don't get those calls. Lebron has to get mugged sometimes for a foul call.

3) Lebron has taken more than one team to elite levels. I don't think Jordan could have gone to that Cleveland team and turned them around the way Lebron did.

4) Jordan wins the charisma battle, and I think that weighs heavily in the minds of people who favor Jordan. Lebron also isn't as flashy but has unparalleled physical tools given his size and athleticism.
