Lohner was great. No idea where that came from but we needed all of it. Bonner was rock solid and stable... much needed. Bridges great efficiency on offense. Jon's rebounding came back.

Literally just missing Thamba and George. Need to get a hold of George and somehow get him in the game. Has regressed since early conference. Stop measuring the shot. Run the pick and roll calmly and methodically. Stop forcing passes. Take the lane when given. Break down into defensive stance even when offense isn't rolling. If he can somehow get going (within the flow) this team could do some damage.

Creighton or NC state would be tough

I'll post this again in the Creighton game thread but just like I posted at the beginning of this thread I see us winning that game by double digits.

Flo can't rebound, score, or play good D. Is Drew just playing him for old times sake, or what? Josh could do anything and be better. C'mon Drew.

1st Round always scares me. If you have a high seed, you are playing someone who is in the "game of their life," typically not familiar and top teams tend to look to future rounds. Always seems to be the dangerous round for the upset. Furman, Princeton, Fairleigh Dickinson, they are all in the game of their lifetime, the one they will talk about the rest of their lifes. That is a dangerous opponent. Talent should win out, but sometimes...

I don't vehemently disagree, but this Creighton matchup screams Flo for MVP (a la natty win) against an old-school big who lives in the paint.

This is an interesting game for BU. The Tourney dynamics are not what they were on Monday. BB Gods throwing their twists. Take care of Creighton...

Reading the game threads is high comedy. Crying like middle school girls and bashing individual players at the first sign of adversity. All the crying and negativity while we have a top 10 team, a #3 seed, and one game away from a sweet 16.

Why should the Tourney be any different than any other event? : )

We all like to get on KG1 for his occasional lapses in effort, but I thought he had the best hustle play of the day when he dove on the ground to get a lose ball that led to him getting a fast break layup. Happened around the 16:20 mark of 2nd half. Really seemed to push us towards some separation and an easy dub.

Well Tim, not very long ago a lot of fans here chided Lohner being on the floor, much less taking shots.

Yesterday Lohner proved that Drew knew what he was doing, and Mr. Lohner was a big part of yesterday's win.

As for Flo, some of us remember games where his rebounding and physical presence helped Baylor win, sometimes his work was vital to winning,

Vital as in we don't have Mark Vital this year, and Flo is about as close to that kind of intimidating defender as we can put out there right now.

Sometimes you need to pay attention to game situations to understand how a player contributes. And anyone who thinks they are smarter than CSD as a coach is delusional.

So go find your way to Birds-R-Us and buy your Creighton shirt. You don't trash talk well, it just makes you look like trash.
