He's got UNT in the NIT Finals tonight, but looks like tomorrow he will be in Lubbock.

Drew, Tang, McCasland; church league basketball never had it so good.

I love the coaching tree

I hate that they will all be recruiting and playing against one another.

Wichita St better have a good buyout for Paul Mills...I could definitely see him in Norman or Stillwater soon.

Congrats Grant! Helluva run in Denton...as someone who is a hoops junkie like me I used to drive up to Denton from Dallas in high school just to see college basketball.

Big 12 just got a lot tougher if possible.

Tech may have had a down year this year, but they were tough last year (Adams winning COY) and all the years with Beard. So it'll remain as tough as it ever was.

It is a good thing Baylor has been effective at hiring assistant coaches lately. If not, Texas Tech wouldn't be able to fill all their openings.

Also - UNT won the NIT last night in case anyone wasn't up on that.

And Mills ..,
I was thinking B12 for the church league but, if you expand it, you can also throw in Matt Driscoll although, his team has struggled as of late.

This is in no way good for Baylor basketball in this NIL era.

Tech hiring a good coach? Did you think they weren't going to try to?

Baylor will be fine. The Big 12 is full of great coaches. Fortunately, we have one of the best.

I'll start worrying when your "economic reality" actually becomes reality.

Our football program is continuing to recruit at the same level it did during all of our best runs in the last 15 years, and our basketball program is recruiting at the highest level it ever has.

When we can no longer draw talent, I'll join you in crying poor. Until then, I'll continue to assume that we're navigating the NIL era as well as any other non-blue blood is.

Terry at Texas is also a former Baylor assistant but under Harry Miller.

McCasland is also distinct in that he is a Baylor grad and played when Terry was an assistant.
