Weird. I thought he would be a lock at OKC. Was this some sort of trade or does a player have the right to make this call based on what gives him the best dollars and best shot for playing time?

OKC loaded with young backcourt talent and future first round picks. Was always going to be tough for Butler to crack that lineup. Move makes a lot of sense for him to go to a team that is rebuilding.

Way too many players at OKC. He's got a much better shot at Washington where they are tearing everything down for a complete rebuild.
