Damn things going to go berserk if he keeps improving.
Where did you find the video of the other B12 coaches watching Baylor MBB?Oso del lago said:

For sure he has room to grow, which is precisely what he has going for him. NBA franchises see the insane, jaw-dropping upside. That's why he will be drafted so high.ScrappyPaws said:
He had a phenomenal game but his draft stock will remain somewhat limited if he can't move his feet a little faster on defense. Two of his stellar blocks only occurred because he got beat badly. Again, he's an nba talent but just saying he has room to grow.
Good morning!

And you know the double teams are coming for JaKobe, so it's great that we have 4 other guys on the court who can score if someone thinks taking JaKobe out of the picture means we can't score.Johnny Bear said:Big_Pumpin said:

While I appreciate the things Flo did for us (primarily on the defensive end) It's going to be really nice to have a post player that's not a liability on the offensive end to the point that any decent or better opponent is free to double team whomever they need to while leaving the post position virtually unguarded.

Really? Now that's something I'd pay to watch. Better tv than football currently.historian said:Oso del lago said:GoodOleBaylorLine said:

The team had a scrimmage a couple weeks ago with Davion Mitchell, Jared Butler, Ish Wainright, Taurean Prince, and a few other Baylor legends.
I don't think it was because he got beat badly, he was purposely waiting on them to go up with the shot so he can attack their release point.ScrappyPaws said:

Yves got beat badly on 3 consecutive plays down the court in the first half, which caused Drew to yank him quickly. He was like a deer in headlights experiencing the size, physicality, quickness and hands of Broome. Scrappy is 100% on the mark. He was flat footed and not prepared for what he was suddenly experiencing.BusyTarpDuster2017 said:I don't think it was because he got beat badly, he was purposely waiting on them to go up with the shot so he can attack their release point.ScrappyPaws said:

But, that's what offered the most promise to me. He didn't let that get him down. He came back out and by the 2nd half he had started adjusting to the new level of play required. That adjustment is the sign of a guy with the potential to become a superstar at some point. He has it in him, but he's a young guy. He, more than anyone on this team, has the potential to advance further with his skill level from November 7th to March 10th.
I think you intended to say April 8th, not March 10thDanaDane said:Yves got beat badly on 3 consecutive plays down the court in the first half, which caused Drew to yank him quickly. The natty team went to isolation a lot in crunch time. We had the luxury of 2 guards who could really shoot the 3 or blow by you in a second and finish at the rim if you tried to guard them outside. That is tough to stop. This team will likely need more flow in its offense, but we do have a lot of options.historian said:DanaDane said:And you know the double teams are coming for JaKobe, so it's great that we have 4 other guys on the court who can score if someone thinks taking JaKobe out of the picture means we can't score.Johnny Bear said:Big_Pumpin said:

Don't know about Butler, but Mitchell and Teague stayed because they weren't projected high in the NBA draft, not for love of the school. If Missi and Walter progress like they could, they'll both be potential top 15 draft picks. Enjoy them while they're here.GoodOleBaylorLine said:

This team possesses many of those same qualities. In fact, I view Nunn as something of a poor man's Mitchell and Dennis as similar in style to Butler.Chuckroast said:The natty team went to isolation a lot in crunch time. Nunn is quick as a hiccup with a reliable 3-point shot and Dennis is as comfortable scoring in the paint as he is on the perimeter.
This team, unlike the championship team, hasn't had the luxury of playing together for years, so we all need to expect some growing pains. But the potential exists with this group to make a very deep run in March.
