Both, horns are overrated big time this year

Marquette has owned the Big 12 the last three years. Shaka is on a revenge tour.

The good news is this dead weight program will be gone next year

This is the 5th time I've watched the Horns. They are the perfect example of a team on paper in preseason that looks like they have several great pieces just based on numbers. But basketball is a team game and those pieces have to fit together.

Hunter is a good player.
Abmas is a good player.

But Hunter and Abmas are not that great together (chemistry).

And, while I realize Disu is out, he's not gonna make that much difference in this front line that is just not very good together.

Nope. Quality wins. Marquette has already beaten No. 20 Illinois, No. 2 Kansas and No. 12 Texas. They also beat UCLA, which is getting votes in the poll.

It doesn't hurt, though, that their only two losses were to No. 4 Purdue (78-75) and No. 23 Wisconsin (75-64).

They've played an insane schedule.

Only a third of the season played so far so I suppose they still have awhile to build some chemistry, but unless there are vast improvements from what I've seen from the 5 times I've watched them, I'd be surprised if they finish better than 5th in the conference.

Sounds like Shaka had himself a big barbecue!
