The fans seem less engaged than I expected. It's probably because of the opponent. Hopefully, it will be significantly better with Big 12 games.

Get real. Baylor students will never be (hope I'm wrong) Cameron Crazies or Kansas level nuts for their basketball teams. It's just what I call reality.
So I think the size of the arena and the way it's constructed is perfect. I'd 100% rather have a sold out 95% Baylor crowd every game.

So in the end, despite the Christmas layoff, only two practices on the new floor before the game, and the incessant whining of IowaBear, the Bears win by more than the spread.

And yes, as the head coach, SD deserves some criticism for that. Maybe a lot. Anyone that doesn't want to admit this isn't being honest or is in denial, and anyone who thinks it amounts to "hating" SD is being way too emotionally fragile.

My .02. I thought Cornell was a very tough opponent. Physically tough team who punched us right in the mouth, and we still took care of business. In particular very high quality guard play. There's a reason MM teams like this are capable of pulling off upsets in March Madness. But reading this thread it seems a few posters grossly disrespect Cornell as a quality opponent and think we should have blown them out by 60. Cornell was no pushover team. OK on to the next one.

Game threads are horrible, and this was the worst of the worst. The first half of the thread was solely about the camera angle and the second half was pretty much nothing but criticizing Drew's coaching (with a lot of personal insults directed to anyone who disagreed).Crawfoso1973 said:

If our defense doesn't improve, I'm more concerned about how the team will handle Kansas, Houston, & Texas.
