Tech used the forcefield strategy of saying Title IX is separate of the university, so its out of Tech's jurisdiction and referred everything to that office.

I believe we were in trouble for not even playing guys who were just at the accused stage in football. In trouble because they wore a uni in the sideline if that. I am a little disappointed in our fellow alum who is running that program. Not that it matters but can Tech not win games without that guy?

I mean let's be honest if he had a BU jersey on BU would be tarred and feathered by now. Either way it's s really bad look. And if it turns out he's guilty then Grant needs fired imo. This reeks of winning at any cost

We're all a little touchy about this, and it's understandable. But put me in the camp of those saying you don't suspend someone for an allegation. If he's charged that's another story.

I would be that way but since we went through hell and had income withheld with Tech's vote to do it I should add, I don't believe in cutting anyone else slack for this situation. I see no reason at all for anyone else to be held at a lower standard than Baylor was.

Grant should be fired, then they should engage an expensive activist legal firm to build the equivalent of a prosecutorial case against themselves, then they should run off the AD and the university president as well while finally burning the program to the ground.

Oh, nevermind - what am I saying. Nobody would be that stupid….

I like McCasland but it comes across that he and Tech kept Pop Isaacs playing just so they could have a shot at winning the Big 12, the Big 12 tournament and advancing in the NCAAs. Now that it's over and he really didn't do any of it they parted ways. McCasland gets rid of a ticking time bomb and Isaacs probably gets a much bigger payout somewhere else.
