I don't know what Josh was doing on that.

Weird. Our losses are back to back, then back to back. I know Drew likes to avoid making a game emotional, but this one maybe we should have some emotion late in the game.

Against K State and Texas both we had a 5 point lead more than halfway through the second half, yet in both cases we could not build on it despite playing inferior teams.

Only way I see we fix that is we build 15 point halftime leads. We don't seem to last all the way at full strength.

How does the rest of the team not help on that drive to the basket?

This is getting flat out coached by terry. So many horrific coaching decisions this game.

You don't know what you're talking about. Drew can't make shots for them. Go back to brunch with your crowd

Low IQ's this teams loaded with low IQ basketball players. Especially situational

i'm with you on both of those - but we seem to be competitive for the majority of games then don't know what to do with the pieces. i have to give CSD the benefit of the doubt given the last 20 years - it's just shocking to me how awful the execution is at the end of games and especially the last two minutes

I started watching with about eight minutes left in the game and saw us make one field goal … the NBA range three launched with about 10 seconds left. Our execution looked awful the entire time I watched. I'm amazed to hear that we actually executed our offense the first 2/3 of the game. I don't know if we just get tight or what, but all i've seen the last two games is a bunch of guys standing around the perimeter watching somebody else go one on two.

Josh was fine, he was pressing up on Disu. Love needs to be in the back court, up and guarding Hunter, so he can't get a full head of steam with no resistance.

I'll say it again, Drew can't make the shots for them. I counted multiple wide open looks late in both games that we just flat out bricked. Y'all Drew blankets are more annoying than this team

Looks like an excrement log floater of a year for Baylor in all major Sports.

That's our offense most games. 1 on 1 or guards chucking 30 footers. We simply don't even bother playing through the post anymore. It's why we go long stretches without any baskets

We have become the men's hoops version of Texas football the past 10 years up until this past season. Viewed as great based on past laurels. Still good but not great.

Sad to see how our major sports have or are performing.

Gonna be a short tourney.

Welp, we are officially in trouble, in terms of winning a top 3 seed.

This team is not top 25 material. Not right now. Hopefully Drew can coach them up defensively by the end of year. I miss the old days (3 years ago) when everyone was certain of their role. These players don't really have much of a clue on defense.

Time to have campus wide tryouts.

We're in this midst of the easy part of conference play. And yes this is the easy part for those saying everyone's tough in this league. And we're in danger of being 3-3 after next weekend. I don't think winning the league or even being top 3 is realistic at this point. Wayyyyy too many holes in this roster. I'd be happy with a top 6 finish in league play

Well we gave Texas their signature win they haven't had all year. Back to back road losses against teams who will finish outside the top 7 in the final B12 standings.
And both will still make the tournament in all likelihood.

Neither of these losses are disasters. It's just frustrating to let winnable road games slip away.

At least Texas played well today. The Kansas State loss was really frustrating because they didn't even play well.

didn't matchup. if RayJ and Josh are gonna press up, whoever needed to be on Hunter needs to be pressing up as well. it was over once he got a head of steam. nothing more Love could've done there with the spot he was in

That was Loves man from the begging and you are correct. Nobody guarded the inbounder and that's who shot the lay up. 15 came running up to a guy with his back to the basket and 100 ft away, then since nobody was guarding the inbounded he got an easy hand off running full speed at the rim. 15 either needs to challenge the inbounds pass or stay back, he did neither and we live with the result

And players that were around 4 full seasons, plus a redshirt, to adapt.

Texas had beaten no one with a pulse until today. I'll believe they're an ncaa tournament team when their names called on selection Sunday. I firmly believe they will finish well under .500 in league play

The way we lost is hilarious. Just the cherry on top.

Scott drew teams don't fold like Texas does for the season. So still hope they can be elite

But what a laughable collapse to lose in the last game in Austin for a while. Sad

We're not getting 15-point halftime leads. That's not how this team plays.

We just need guys to perform better at key points in games, Nunn especially.

We can't have our No. 2 guard be unplayable late in key games. It just can't happen.

Disagree. Right now we should be ranked between 16th and 23rd. Don't forget that Texas got 27 points from 3 in the first half, and needed a Baylor collapse to win at the buzzer.

As much as we hate the bad stuff, don't forget the Bears fought back, and if Texas had only shot 54% (6 of 11 instead of 9 of 11) from 3 in the first half, we would have won by 7 today.

Too many empty calories on this squad. If you can't beat a mediocre Texas team, you have problems. We are really not that talented top to bottom.

They've faded in every game (decent opponent) late outside of Florida, and even that one got too tight. Bad sign. K state and Texas just aren't very good

Unfortunately, there are structural flaws with this roster. We'll have a game or two where we look much better and a game or two where we look awful, but at the mean there's no way to correct the structural flaw this season. It's a good team, not a great team.

No time to panic although the chicken littles on the game threads always do . Going into the season we knew there would be growing pains. A mix of transfers and young players. They are talented and coachable but will take time to learn situational basketball. Fortunately most every other team is in the same situation due to the transfer portal.

I think we will go unranked very soon, at which point the team will begin coming together to break the top 25 once again by late Feb. But at its best, I don't see much talent on the squad. 2 or 3 good players followed by players who sorta just take up space.
