I don't know what Josh was doing on that.

This is getting flat out coached by terry. So many horrific coaching decisions this game.

i'm with you on both of those - but we seem to be competitive for the majority of games then don't know what to do with the pieces. i have to give CSD the benefit of the doubt given the last 20 years - it's just shocking to me how awful the execution is at the end of games and especially the last two minutes
Josh was fine, he was pressing up on Disu. Love needs to be in the back court, up and guarding Hunter, so he can't get a full head of steam with no resistance.Stefano DiMera said:

And both will still make the tournament in all likelihood.IowaBear said:
Well we gave Texas their signature win they haven't had all year. Back to back road losses against teams who will finish outside the top 7 in the final B12 standings.

didn't matchup. if RayJ and Josh are gonna press up, whoever needed to be on Hunter needs to be pressing up as well. it was over once he got a head of steam. nothing more Love could've done there with the spot he was in
We're not getting 15-point halftime leads. That's not how this team plays.Oldbear83 said:
Weird. Our losses are back to back, then back to back. I know Drew likes to avoid making a game emotional, but this one maybe we should have some emotion late in the game.
Against K State and Texas both we had a 5 point lead more than halfway through the second half, yet in both cases we could not build on it despite playing inferior teams.
Only way I see we fix that is we build 15 point halftime leads. We don't seem to last all the way at full strength.
Disagree. Right now we should be ranked between 16th and 23rd. Don't forget that Texas got 27 points from 3 in the first half, and needed a Baylor collapse to win at the buzzer.Guitarbiscuit said:
This team is not top 25 material. Not right now. Hopefully Drew can coach them up defensively by the end of year. I miss the old days (3 years ago) when everyone was certain of their role. These players don't really have much of a clue on defense.

We're in this midst of the easy part of conference play. And yes this is the easy part for those saying everyone's tough in this league. And we're in danger of being 3-3 after next weekend. I don't think winning the league or even being top 3 is realistic at this point. Wayyyyy too many holes in this roster. I'd be happy with a top 6 finish in league play

As much as we hate the bad stuff, don't forget the Bears fought back, and if Texas had only shot 54% (6 of 11 instead of 9 of 11) from 3 in the first half, we would have won by 7 today.
