I disagree heavily. @ TCU and @ Tech are also more difficult than @ BYU because they're both better teams. The reality is catching either Houston or ISU is simply unlikely. And the schedule is a big part of why I think that's the case. I'd be happy being wrong but I personally see us going 3-3 over this next 6 game stretch. I think some are drastically underestimating this gauntlet. I'd challenge anyone to show me a more difficult schedule the rest of the way across the country than what BU faces

Up 10 and completely relaxed v a decent but unspectacular Tcu at home. Up 4 multiple close out possessions v K St and make the most improbable "cant have " plays. Tex game, we're taking control and then gave it right back.

Ku game I'll give. Played terrible and it's on the road. Tex just couldn't quite get there so I'll give that one. But ksu and tcu should have been Ws and as you said should be in first in this league.

Iowa st doesn't count as a steal as we controlled the game before the refs. BYU we had already taken control. Only Ok St is any possibility of a steal game. Every other team in this league has 1 or 2. We should have walked with the league this year.

@Byu is the chance to still do it. Must win. Get that and we'll clip Hou at home.

BYU might be the hardest game left in the schedule. Then again, it might be Houston or Tech. They are all going to be tough. We cannot take anything for granted. If we win Tuesday, however, we will have momentum. That could help carry us forward.

I think At Tech is our second hardest remaining game so I largely agree. At tcu, I don't. Have considerable success there and while they are solid if we build on that next gear we should win.

BYU doesn't know how to generate calls in this league and it cost them multiple games. They lack some explosion but it's a very difficult game on the road. I think if this team can pull out a road win in Provo , we have something. Will be pulling for Iowa St tomorrow and then we could largely knock out Hou Saturday.

Even with Iowa Sts easy remaining schedule, I don't trust them. It's bias on my part but I expect them to drop at least one or two.

This team just can't defend well enough to beat good offensive teams when they execute. It puts a hard cap on what we can accomplish.

We're basically a nightmare matchup for bad offensive teams or anyone we can zone. And we're a dream matchup for anyone that force us into man.

It's really frustrating because it's gotten really predictable.

Texas Tech still has an opportunity at securing the double bye in the Big 12 tournament in Kansas City

A win against #11 Baylor would secure the double bye and potentially give the Red Raiders a Quarterfinal game that could be a Q1 opportunity

From what I have read about Big 12 tiebreakers, we are a lock for the #3 seed in the tournament in Kansas City, no matter the outcome in Lubbock.
