Agreed! UConn is pretty much an automatic L for 99 percent of teams. They are just so good at every position with them being healthy. They were pretty limited with injuries at KU, and still almost won that game. I would much rather play Purdue.

Nunn & Walter playing well at the same time with the bigs continuing to develop would be game over against most college teams. Outside of UConn, I don't see anyone who could contain that.

Not that this really means anything in the grand scheme of things, but he just said Baylor likely retains a 4 seed with a 2-2 record in the Final 4 games since they are all Quad 1. Anything better could allow us to rise (depending on contests with those seeded higher) and anything worse likely results in a 5 seed pending Big 12 tournament results.

(Although UT can't be Quad 1, right? They aren't Top 30 in Net and we play them at home.)

Katz usually undervalues Baylor, so this is interesting. I feel like every pre-NCAA tournament show he would pick us to lose in the first round, short of the NCAA title team.

That's what happens when you lose to West Virginia and UCF.

At 7-5 in QUAD 1 games and 5-0 in QUAD 2 games, they qualify for the first part of this. But they're hurt by their bad losses.

It's a winning record in QUAD 1 and 2 combined, though the wording of that tweet is very misleading.

We have not lost a game all year outside of the QUAD 1, which is pretty impressive. You have to be a good team to beat us.
