Iowa st looks bad. Don't see the offensive talent. Should have known they would flake when we just rolled out the ball and controlled them (before the near robbery).

Neither team pops to me. They play incredibly hard though.

Hasn't Houston been in the top five all season long? It shows. I think the only Houston game I've seen this season so far is when they were at Kansas.

The one thing we can't do on offense that some of our guys tend to do from time to time is to stop moving. UH has one of the best trapping D's I've seen all year. Our guys without the ball don't move against UH? It will be a replica of the 20+ TOs in Lawrence.

Cryer is the same Cryer I remember from all the way back to his freshman year.

If he gets feet set, he nails a high percentage of his 3's.

If he is even the least bit off balance, he clanks a high percentage.

I've seen. Iowa st is tough but they just don't have that gear I look for in elite teams.

Watching this with open mind.. and to be fair they've been hacked about 4 times with no call which makes them hesitant

The only elite team is UConn. So that's not really a fair comparison. They're a damm good team. Losing to Houston ain't changing that.

You know Dennis will hold a second too long and you know he'll do a few skip passes that get intercepted. But.. at home if we get the bigs to catch on the trap, keep the ball high, and hit the corner man, 3 ball there all day.

This isn't basketball to be fair. If we get a decent whistle we'll be in double bonus by 8 minute mark

I like the way you're thinking, but there's also a reason UH is in Top 10 on 3 point FG D -- they rotate quite well and create enough havoc that tends to result in rushed shots.

Will be interesting to see whether the officials let it be physical or ticky tack. Yves could do some serious damage in this game, IF he can stay in the game long and not spend the entire game on the sidelines in foul trouble.

Where did I or anyone say ISU is elite? That was never said. But that's a damm damm good basketball team. Only an idiot would say otherwise at this point.
