Self does not want to lose huge to us.. I guarantee that. They will do everything they can to get him out there. Losing in a blowout to Tech when depleted can be hand waived. You should take it as a compliment.. they take their games against us very seriously.

A 1 point win has equal value as a 20 point win but the latter would be more satisfying.

Baylor -4 would indicate he is NOT playing!

What does KU have to gain by playing him? A road win MIGHT move them to a 2 seed or, it might not. A loss doesn't hurt them. If there is any question at all to his health, he sits and gets healthy for the tourney.

They have KSU at home Tuesday and can win that one without him.

I expect to see him next Saturday at Houston.

If we see him tomorrow, I suspect he is fully healthy.

That's exactly what I said. The people in Vegas have no idea. They were guessing.

You drew a reasonable conclusion from the line & I speculated as to why.

Line is -6 now. You understand Vegas doesn't set lines without knowing the real status of injured players right?

I have no idea how Vegas does things. I don't gamble so don't pay much attention. Occasionally I'm curious as to what they expect but that's as far as it goes. I also don't take it seriously because I've watched plenty of games in which the favored team loses. It happens all the time.

In 2020, our MBB team was #1 for several weeks in a row & went to Florida for the SEC challenge. We were the underdogs despite being #1 and had recently won in Lubbock & Lawrence in back to back games. Of course we defeated the Gators decisively. I always thought it strange for the oddsmakers to err so egregiously.

To be fair, that was our first week as #1 and still early in our 23 game winning streak. It's likely no one expected either outcome.

Given that Kansas is coming off a loss, nothing will surprise me with regards to McCuller playing. Let's just hope our Bears cut down on the turnovers this time and get the W! On that we can all agree.

Actually, this is old news if you watched his presser. This is just a quote from that in which we referenced their practices. In other words, as expected, we won't know until shortly before game time.

Drew has been coaching against Bill Self for 21 years. He knows how to deal with these things and no doubt the team is prepared for McCullar's possible return. As someone noted, if he does return he probably will be rusty. Either way, I think our guy will be fine. And our home court advantage should help them out.
