You mean a 3 seed.

Assuming we hold onto the 3 it looks like we're getting one of KU, BYU or TCU. Assuming they take care of business in 2nd RD

With double byes, you're facing a good/hot team regardless. The seed really doesn't make a lot of difference.

I didn't see a lot of their games either but they were pretty terrible in their inaugural B12 conference game against Cincinnati at home (for one thing, couldn't hit the side of a barn for most of the game). It is as bad as they've looked in a long time, however.

From a matchup perspective it matters. We match up with certain teams much better than others. Fatigue could also play a role.
But I agree we're getting a good team regardless more than likely.
