Side note, anyone else take off work for first few days of MM? I'm off next Thursday and Friday ahead of the weekend to be a couch potato

I've tried that in the past. Just didn't get the same satisfaction haha.
Always take off round one, been doing it since grade school. Mom used to write a note so I could stay home. I think I would rather play Kansas down two players than Cincinnati. They will be hungry for wins to try and make a push for NCAA. If we can't beat either of them I will lower my expectations for the tourney that matters.

Agree would rather face KU. But Cincy would be on game 3 in 3 days. That's also advantage us.
We need to win that first game either way. I'll be disappointed with a quarterfinals exit this year. We're better than both of those teams.IowaBear said:

After that, I don't care that much what happens because we'll be playing teams as good or better than us from the semifinals on. But we need to get at least one win in KC this year.
A) A quarterfinals loss would be underachievement. And B) a win buys us an extra game to get Love right before the big tournament.

Would you have ever expected to see Kansas as an underdog in their first round game?
We have a great chance I mean, if we play Cincinnati, they would be playing the third game against us and that would be our first and Kansas is so thin on the bench, t tired, hey would probably be a little tired.

Fortunately, I am on Spring Break. As an educator, that means I have the week off. I also know what I will be doing for the next few weekends.
